Our dedicated practitioners, Dr. Beer and Dr. Oauknine have practiced urology combined for over 30 years. The team at Community Care Urology Latham believes that every patient is unique and has individual needs and tailor care plans to treat each patient. We take the time to listen to our patients and understand their concerns.

Our Accredited Facility

CCP’s AAAASF (Quad A) facility is within our Community Care Urology – Latham suite. This outpatient location offers his patients comfort, ease of parking, and lower co-pays compared to a hospital setting. Patients are only responsible for an office-based copayment instead of a hospital-based copayment for their procedure. Our patients will benefit from swift appointment times, prompt results, and the opportunity to have their procedures in a private setting.

The facility is used for performing non-invasive shockwave treatment lithotripsy (ESWL) for kidney stones and other stone diseases.

If you are suffering from kidney stones, simply have your primary care doctor send a referral to our office. Our staff will take it from there. Some insurances may require a prior authorization for procedures, which our urology team will coordinate.

For patients at higher risk or who need a higher level of sedation, Dr. Beer and Dr. Ouaknine also perform these procedures and others at Ellis Hospital.
